History

Designer Advisor was conceived in 2005 by Sally Heale, who has worked as a retail buying agent for both national and international stores for over ten years. Her area of expertise is in sourcing young and emerging designers in Europe, with a particular focus on UK designers.

Sally Heale has since been joined at Designer Advisor by other fashion industry experts and today the team and their network of experienced freelance consultants offer a comprehensive and competitive service within the retail marketplace.

Through the continued success of Designer Advisor a fourth not for profit guidance service for young designers has recently been added to the list of services offered. The Designer Advisor team are keen to give back to the fashion industry so attempt wherever possible to make this designer support service a free one. Designer Advisor are able to give advice and guidance to newcomers providing them with access to a support network which aims to help the new fashion designer enter, grow their brand and sustain themselves in the market place.
